Development Administrative Assistant Full-time, hourly
Primary Function: To provide secretarial and administrative support for development projects, Development Project Managers, and to the CEO in order to assist in retaining long-term clients and to assist in achieving the Company’s strategic objectives.
Typical Duties Include: Coordinate, prepare, distribute, and administer project correspondence. Keep and update files on projects. Contact government entities regarding permitting, fees, & approval processes. Contact with utility providers to coordinate new services. Prepare application for zoning, planning, and other permits for submissions. Assist with real estate closings by coordinating form agreements. Collect information on site from available sources online or in person. Coordinate title commitments and searches. Create checklists for development process mapping/systemizing. Provide reception coverage as needed.
Successful candidate must possess:
Outgoing personality, with the ability to comfortably reach out and talk with people to get desired results
Extensive experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Internet, and Windows.
Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation knowledge.
Basic math skills and bookkeeping principles.
Record keeping and filing methods.
Advanced knowledge of internet searching for information on government websites.
Creative Problem solving capabilities.
Experience in Real estate and/or construction project administration highly desired.
At least two years of relevant experience.
Two-year business or vocational degree or equivalent preferred.
High school diploma.
